Job Description

Position Title:            Creative Director

Summary/Objective:

The Creative Director is responsible for all aspects of creative design for marketing programs, business development programs, including but not limited to, all protection and control of Company brand including logo, use of logo, modifications to logo for special occasions, design of all company stationary & envelopes, design of company documents for all departments, design of email signatures, design of business cards, design of corporate, vehicle and job site signage, proposal and brochure design, design of all PowerPoint presentations, website design, management and continual updating, design and management of company store items, design of required employee apparel for any event, design of trade show and all company events, design of all company gifts, design and implementation of all annual marketing campaigns of any nature, design of all client marketing campaigns, design and management of all social media sites, management of, design and purchasing of advertising, maintenance of all marketing data files and all other marketing design that is required or requested. The position reports to the Director of Public Relations and Marketing “consultant” and requires close coordination and collaboration with Director of Public Relations and Marketing in many aspects of the functions listed below.

 

Essential Functions:

 Sales and Marketing

  • Collaborate closely with the internal team, architects, designers, marketing department and developers.
  • Possess impeccable graphic design skills of a senior level
  • Create and edit multi-page proposals, government forms, qualification packages, and presentations and produce in-house before external distribution on a tight timeline.
  • Design and prepare all award applications being pursued by the company
  • Coordinate and organize large amounts of technical information for the proposal team, including photography, videography, and marketing collateral
  • Possess ability to project manage numerous marketing projects with varying deadlines in tandem with one another and delegate to other team members to
  • accomplish goals.
  • Gather information for website updates and send to website management company.
  • Schedule, stage, and supervise all project and company photography and videography.
  • Perform image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation
  • Package and for release to printers or media partners
  • Ensure color integrity and quality of photography from concept to delivery of final product.
  • Participate actively in the company’s business development efforts by forwarding contacts and sales leads to appropriate business development personnel and Division Presidents.
  • Conduct press checks
  • Ability to Print and bind RFP’s and all printed marketing materials
  • Ability to print, fold, and stock marketing materials when
  • Organize and maintain RFP/marketing files
  • Proofread RFPs and marketing materials, as well as content composition when necessary
  • Maintain database of information (employee resumes, project descriptions, etc.)
  • Assist in the collection of content for website/blog/projects
  • Oversee social media marketing in all appropriate platforms
  • Design signage and ad layouts
  • Design all Media Kits
  • Train and supervise all videography production
  • Design all client gift and packaging
  • Design all ad campaigns
  • Design all Trade Show backdrops and staging
  • Design or select all trade show gifts
  • Design and maintain design of company logo
  • Possess a strong understanding of branding principles
  • Possess ability to assist in photoshoots as a stylist
  • Create and manage yearly advertising campaign in collaboration with Public Relations and Marketing.

 Business Development

  • Develop a collaborative relationship with Business Development Staff and Divisions Presidents
  • Develop strategy, manage and wordsmith proposal requests, specific client collaterals, project type collaterals, etc.
  • Design and produce proposal requests, specific client collaterals, project type collateral, etc.
  • Design and produce video/PowerPoint presentations
  • Attend presentation interviews as needed
  • Assure that appropriate creative team member creates, manages and expedites proposal checklist for Business Development and Division Presidents
  • Schedule and lead proposal kickoff meetings with Business Development and Division Presidents

Estimating and Preconstruction

  • Work with vendors on timelines and project estimating
  • Work with Business Development and Presidents on timelines for presentations and RFQ’s

 Equipment and Materials

  • Responsible for managing and updating equipment within the department
  • Manage, stage in produce all project and employee photos and videos
  • Maintain and control all photo, video and printing equipment
  • Create and maintain and up to date and organized photo/video files

 Job Cost, General Accounting, and Office and Financial Management

  • Review production invoices for approval by appropriate party
  • Develop knowledge of materials available and recommend cost-saving opportunities

 Human Resource Management and Cooperation with Other Employees

  • Work with multiple employees to gather required information.
