This is a unique opportunity to work with very smart and creative people utilizing state-of-the-art machinery on interesting projects in a dynamic environment. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic graphics and web designer with an entrepreneurial spirit who can deliver creative graphic design work, manage our Wordpress website and conduct website optimization. This is a unique opportunity to work every day around robots, drones, machine learning and technology to keep our website engaging and updated, create datasheets and collateral, develop logos and drive traffic to our website. The ideal candidate thinks strategically, has a great sense of design and has experience working in B2B markets.

Our company works with energy and utility in the US and UK every day to develop and deploy robotics systems, inspection systems and unmanned aerial systems. Use of our technology helps our customers minimize their impact on the environment and reduce disruption to the public while lowering their costs. What does a day in the life of an Graphics & Web Design Specialist look like for ULC Robotics?

You will manage the company website; add and edit pages. Enhance the website user experience, improve page performance using conversion rate optimization. Conduct keyword research and on-site search engine optimization. Use website analytics to look for trends in website traffic. Create datasheets, case studies, logos, diagrams and other material using Adobe Creative Suite. Create logos for the company’s technologies and services. Use photoshop to create product images. Ability to manage website redesign and creation of microsites. Other duties as assigned.

To be successful, you will have the following: 

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Relevant degree in Marketing or Business
• Previous experience marketing to utility, energy or industrial companies preferred
• Ability to work on multiple projects with overlapping deadlines while delivering high-quality work
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Good organizational, time management and project management skills
• Ability to travel regionally, nationally and internationally for marketing events and meetings
