Position Summary

This position will code software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers. 

We follow a more agile software development approach in order to deliver on time and on budget with high quality.

VASCOR’s development environment is primarily Microsoft.  All servers are running Microsoft operating systems and services.  The development tools are currently all Microsoft.

Position Responsibilities:

• Complete projects within established timelines and within budget constraints with high quality.
• The ability and desire to rapidly learn complex technologies and software products in a self-starting mode.
• 75% - Develop and maintain new and existing software solutions
• 10% - Provide in-house technical support and consultation on the use and features of VASCOR software solutions
• 10% - Coordinate and test all EDI implementations with new EDI trading partners, to confirm EDI compliance to specification.
• 5% - Provide on-call support for production applications.

Essential Skills and Experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math or Computer Science related field of study.
• 3-5 years of experience in development or related field.

• Multi-tier Application Development

• Microsoft certification such as MSCD helpful, but not required.
• Experience in project management and developer leadership is a plus.
