 Due to company expansion and market demand, The Wallace Group has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate at our Manassas Virginia Branch located at 8680 Virginia Meadows Drive Manassas, VA 20109. We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic individual to help maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and continued growth of our business.  Normal schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday and the salary range is $14-$16 per hour with the possibility of overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and assisting customers with 'will call' pickups
• Safely operating material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, forklift, manual pallet jack, etc.
• Receiving UPS/miscellaneous orders
• Helping to ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and safety codes are followed
• Local driving, delivering merchandise to customers in a safe and timely manner
• May also be called upon to perform other tasks as needed
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
• Must possess and maintain a current Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• VALID DOT MEDICAL CERTIFICATION CARD is REQUIRED and/or DOT PHYSICAL is REQUIRED to OBTAIN a DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Adequate physical strength and stamina to repeatedly lift, carry, move, and set down up to 75 lbs.
• Prior truck driving/forklift experience is preferred
• Ability to operate a computer and communicate via telephone; basic map-reading ability
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, other personnel and the public 
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
