POSITION SUMMARY
Project Managers add value to our company by working as seller-doers, managing the construction process from estimating to project completion. Our PM’s are fluent in estimating, jobsite management, communication management, and team development. We are looking to add only top-grade PM’s to our current team of A-players.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
100% Responsibility for all work and reporting related to projects
Estimating
Manage process and staff for estimate
• Plan procurement
• Bid submittal requirements including bond, insurance, bid forms, quals, etcSub Solicitation / Coverage
Frontal doc risk assessment/ management
Take-off/ quantity survey
Production rates and crew size analysis
Estimate review prior to bid day
Bid room management/ decorum
Bid day submission
Estimate Accuracy/ Reliability in estimate
• Fill all gaps
• Mitigate Risks
Project Management
Project Buy-out
• Subcontractor Interviews
• Subcontracts / Purchase Orders
• Budget development / Cost Coding
• Manpower Placement / Assignment
Project Start-up
• NTP to critical subs
• Document distribution
• Schedule development
• Long lead submittal procurement
• Kick-off meeting with superintendent
• Pre-con meeting OAC
• Pre-con meeting with Subs
• Insurance / Bond Management (P&P / Ret Bonds, Liability Ins, BR)
• Risk Assessment / Management
Construction Phase Management
• Project organization
• Safety
• Oversight of operations onsite
• Material Procurement
• Schedule update/ distribution
• Document control – Drawings, specs, Addenda, ASI’s, Etc.
• Submittal Review/ Tracking

• Contract compliance related to all aspects including subcontractor compliance
• Wage reporting compliance

IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
As a qualified candidate, you will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent years of experience required. A minimum of four or more years of general contracting experience, preferably with proven performance on large commercial building projects. A creative problem solver and excellent communication skills in addition to a positive attitude and willingness to work with others.
