Schlouch Inc. has been Eastern PA’s leading site/civil contractor since 1983 and is still growing! We are currently looking to add an Equipment Operator to our residential/small projects team.  This position will be expected to perform tasks involving earthwork, underground utility installation, and full site preparation on residential and small project job sites in a 70 mile radius of Reading, PA.  This position has excellent potential for growth and advancement and is well suited for a skilled individual looking to grow their career with a proven industry leader.

The ideal candidate is expected to do the following:

• Work independently and as a member of a crew on active job sites
• Perform manual/physical labor and lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to read or learn to read blueprints
• Knowledge of or ability to learn stakeout, layout and grade setting
• Knowledge of or ability to learn site/pipe laser and transit
• Able to operator or learn to operate excavator, skid loader, track loader, backhoe, roller
