We are seeking an experienced Warp Tender to join us in our Textile Mill in Graham. The environment is fast-paced, and you’ll be working with a team of dedicated knitting professionals to help you take your textile career to the next level! 

Work on First Shift to start: Move to Second or Third.

Warp Tenders must have the ability to understand warping instructions and create reports for each set warped. They are required to patrol warper heads, monitor for quality and make any adjustments needed.

As a Warp Tender you will:

• Work in a textile manufacturing setting and be responsible for tending to the warping machines
• Understand warping instructions and create reports for each set warped
• Patrol warper heads, monitor for quality and make any adjustments needed
• Tape out and warp beams on the warper
• Change warper’s end count for different styles
• Perform general maintenance and cleaning of warper and creel (tensioners, reeds, etc.)

To perform this job successfully, you will need to be able to:

• Handle yarn delicately
• Bend and squat to measure circumference and clean beams at doff (excellent vision is required)
• Pick up and change packages up to 30 pounds
• Climb a ladder
• Lift up to 30 pounds, often while climbing a ladder
• Assist in maintaining housekeeping throughout the warping department
• Pass pre-employment substance screening and background check
