Our Service Managers lead passionate teams to deliver exceptional customer service by meeting client needs and commitments. They are responsible for the profitable execution of assigned maintenance and project deliverable's with a strong focus on client retention. They also see that work performed is in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics. Adhering to all company safety standards, as well as, following consistent and repeatable management procedures and processes is important for success in this role.

Service Managers also manage the financial health of their business unit (maintains positive cash flow, gross profit plans, actively pursues selling change orders and client retention) by maintaining an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results. This position is based out of our Colorado Springs office.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Acts as the primary leader for operations teams for maintenance and project work. Develops schedules for all operational objectives.
• Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes. Actively pursues additional work through change orders. Performs associated cost estimates, supports sales on proposals and negotiates final settlement price and customer acceptance.
• Manages the company’s customer CARE program.
• Sells and supports sales activities.
• Manages costs, billings and collections. Completes billings in a timely and accurate format to the client. Maintains profitability goals and positive cash flow.
• Analyzes financial reporting systems and schedules to proactively address potential problems. Effectively communicates progress, issues and financial status to management as required.
• Manages risks and establishes recovery plans when required. Resolves disputes with minimal need for escalation.
• Negotiates, prepares and issues subcontracts.
• Manages company vehicle fleet program.
• Manages spare part(s) inventory.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight.

Description:
• Associates degree, technical focus preferred
• At least 3 years service management experience in facilities, HVAC, or energy/sustainability services.
• Some experience with business to business sales preferred.
• Knowledge of the business environment in the Colorado Springs region.
• Professional image
• Excellent logistics, communication and management skills.
