Job Description

Bardi Mechanical is currently seeking a Dispatcher who will efficiently and effectively provide assitance to all incoming technician lines as well as handle schedule preparation and routing for all service technicians.

The primary responsibilties will include:

Service Dispatch

-  Handle incoming technicians' calls via phone and cell.

-  Dispatch technicians and provide accurate customer information (reported trouble, customer contact, etc).

-  Optimize the dispatch board for maximum efficiency based on travel time and call matching.

-  Receive arrival and competion notices from technicians and enter proper information into the computer (accurate times, invoice number, money collected, nature of service, parts used, etc.).

-  Daily work order preparation (closing of work orders to produce billing and payroll hours) including confirmation of payroll with Discrete Wireless Reports.

-  Tracking of all service vehicles with Discrete Wireless GPS Monitoring System.  Use this system to provide reports to verify work order labor for payroll.

-  Keep customers and technicians aware of status of orders and scheduling changes.

-  Notify technicians of their first call for the next day via Page Net paging system or Nextel.

-  Make prioritization decisions about workload and technician assignment with the assistance of the service manager.

-  Customer service representative back up duties to include handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, follow up calls, promotion of Planned Maintenance Agreements, and other miscellaneous duties).

-  Must be able to attend and participate in weekly service meetings at 7 am on Mondays and Fridays.
