Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer drives process improvement in the manufacturing area by monitoring current processes, identifying waste and eliminating it. The Manufacturing Engineer will also play a key role in determining capital needs, leading projects, developing cost reductions, and safety improvements.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with shop floor employees to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop manufacturing processes to improve flow
  • Design and develop fixtures, tools, and facilities to support and improve current processes
  • Support daily activities to ensure safety, quality, and delivery
  • Research equipment related to capital improvements
  • Implement LEAN manufacturing methodology in process

Required and Preferred Qualifications: Technical degree required in such disciplines as Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering, and experience with 3D modeling software, CNC, Tool & Die, and PLC automation.
