Van Wall Equipment has a proud history as a John Deere dealer dating back to 1944, when the first dealership, known as Wall Implement, was opened on Main Street in Woodward Iowa. Since that time Van Wall Equipment has grown into one of the largest John Deere dealership groups in the country with more than 600 employees and 27 John Deere Locations spanning five states in the Midwest. Van Wall is proud to sell and service a wide range of John Deere equipment.

Overview:
In this hybrid role the candidate will serve as both a Parts Specialist and Delivery Driver. In the Parts aspect of the position there will be both front and back of house responsibilities ranging from inventory control to assisting customers at the front counter. When operating as a Delivery Driver the candidate will utilize a delivery truck to deliver bulk oil to customers. Additionally, the candidate may assist with the internal transfer of parts on as needed basis.

Responsibilities:
-Works with the sales and parts departments to identify, deliver, and pickup of parts and whole goods between Van Wall stores
-Drives company vehicle and trailer with parts to and from Van Wall stores
-Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment as required.
-Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
-Knowledge of all parts in order to effectively help customers identify, order and receive necessary parts for repair of equipment offered for sale by the dealership.
-Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
-Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
-Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
-Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing orders in their proper inventory locations thus maintaining an accurate and complete inventory.
-Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
-Follows up on shortages and issues by working directly with the parts manager
-Any other job duties that are assigned.

Job Requirements:
-Ability to operate vehicle, tools, and equipment used in the pickup and delivery processes
-Class B CDL Required (Class A CDL preferred)
-Valid drivers license and clean driving record (must be able to be insured under company insurance)
-Knowledge of Agricultural and Construction equipment
-High School diploma or equivalent experience required
