Water Truck Driver

Hunter Contracting, specializing in civil infrastructure, is seeking is seeking experienced Water Truck Driver to operate tank truck to transport, pump or apply water to for Dust Control.  Apply online, or stop by our TUCSON office, located at 6930 N. Camino Martin Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85741.

Responsible for: 

  • Loads truck; delivers and applies water to specified destination(s).
  • Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
  • Performs DOT Daily Inspection to include inspecting tires, lights, brakes, fuses and fluid levels.
  • Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
  • Takes pride in craftsmanship, works within precise standards of accuracy
  • Prioritizes work to meet goals or deadlines.
  • Practices good safety habits. 

Qualifications

  • Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker endorsement and no Air Brake restrictions; AND,
  • One (1) + years of experience in operation of power construction equipment; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Must provide Medical DOT Health Card & 3-year DMV records.
