SCHEDULE: 1st shift; Monday-Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm (can vary slightly)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Determine acceptable processes used to deburr machined parts. Deburr machined parts using hand and automated tools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

  • Studies specifications, blueprints or sample parts to determine the appropriate process required to properly deburr parts.
  • Clean, wash or tumble parts as required.
  • Use the appropriate tools to deburr or rework machined parts.
  • Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications.
  • Fits and assembles parts into complete or partial assemblies as needed.
  • Keep material and paperwork in order and organized.
  • Follows safe shop practices.
  • Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines and equipment.
  • Provide on-the-job training to other employees in department.
  • Conform to the company quality system as documented.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school education or GED
  • Attention to details
  • Mechanically orientated
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • No heavy lifting required
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
