PURPOSE

Oversee Service Contract sales initiatives and delivery of service to our customers.  Participate in the overall delivery of service by working with the team to develop and maintain operational best practices for productivity, efficiencies, and overall customer satisfaction for service business unit. Maintain and grow the “Customer for Life” concept for existing and new customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

     Manage Service Business Unit Service Contract Sales activity, sales cycles, and Account Executives

  • Sell and manage your own list of Service Contract clients as well as help assign new opportunities to other Account Executives
  • Manage Account Executives: including targeting customers or markets, sales training, tracking, and closing profitable service work
  • Help estimate and provide solutions for customer service needs
  • Meet with clients at various stages of sales cycle
  • Promote Baker Group to potential and existing customers
  • Participate in higher level of cross-sells with bigger clients
  • Work with Account Executives in effort to review service contract quotes for hours and delivery
  • Schedule and run routine Service Contract Sales meetings including creating Agenda and training plan
  • Support Business Unit Leader in day-to-day operations
  • Develop successful relationships with internal and external customers and take advantage of opportunities to market Baker Group’s products and services
  • Build on relationships that effectively promote Baker Group interests with customers, owners, prime contractors, subcontractors, and architects/engineers etc.
  • Promote goals for customer retention and overall quality of service delivery
  • Create sales objectives and measurements with Account Executives
  • Promote Baker Group through participation in sales with Account Executives, developing relationships with customers and other professionals in our construction community
  • Understand customer systems to determine needs to provide scope of work necessary
  • Work to improve productivity, efficiencies, and quality service delivery
  • Review in-house procedures and processes for best practice to guide team to create best practices
  • Help find and create additional service offerings to grow Baker Group business
  • Ensure each contract achieves expected gross profit level
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and quality of work is sufficient standard
  • Review all service work orders (spot or preventative) of all skill sets to verify work is done timely
  • Follow up on any delinquent open WO and rectify with other business units
  • Develop and implement customer satisfaction feedback
  • Meet with customers to understand needs and our fulfillment of service to them
  • Understand accounting software to manage service delivery and management tools

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Bachelor degree or higher
  • 3 to 5 years of experience selling Preventive Maintenance Service Contract
