The primary function of the Quality Control Technician is to assist with quality control testing of materials produced during aggregate and asphalt production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist Duininck Quality Control staff in a variety of settings, field labs and project sites in several states.
- Material sampling of aggregates, hot mix asphalt and compacted asphalt cored from roadway.
- Assist paving crew on worksites and monitoring of rolling for compaction during the placement of materials phase.
- Laboratory assistance with materials from paving operations and supply sites.
- Assist with duties as assigned by project supervisors.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Must be organized, detail orientated and able to work independently.
- Good written and communication skills are a must.
- Basic math and computer software skills are a plus.
- Must be willing to travel.
Education and Experience:
|
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certifications a plus.
- Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook a plus.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
|
- Regularly required to stand, sit, move about different facilities and work locations.
- Regularly required to drive and navigate to various job sites.
- Able to lift objects up to 80 lbs.
- Travel as required.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
