Job Summary and Responsibilities
In this role, the project manager is a project team leader responsible for the individual project's supervision and management (s). Will provide direction to the project team accomplishing project goals or objectives within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through the project team. The senior project manager’s role is to support and facilitate field operations; this includes monitoring and controlling contracts, submittals, construction documents, and owner and architect expectations.
Qualifications
Candidates must have the following requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in construction project management with a large commercial general contractor required
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field of study
- Extensive experience managing large tilt-wall projects for industrial, manufacturing, sizeable retail business sectors, and design-build experience. Project size 500+ mil sf.
- Ability to build and manage a complex construction schedule and drive the project to completion on time and within budget
- Advanced understanding of risk management
- Extensive experience managing multiple budgets and large construction projects ($15M - $20M+)
- Ability to effectively communicate with project owners, clients, and subcontractors
- A leader who can successfully drive a project to completion
- Strong computer skills using project management software applications - Procore, Phoenix, Spectrum, Bluebeam
- Valid driver’s license required
