Service Refrigeration Company was founded in 1986 by current president W.L. "Butch" Edmonds Jr. The company has grown steadily over the past 28 years. Now with over 180 full time employees in five service regions across Texas, we have become the solutions partner of choice for many clients large & small. Dedication to quality and commitment to customer satisfaction is the foundation of our company. What separates us from every other contractor is our professional people and extensive knowledge in commercial refrigeration, HVAC planning, consulting, design, installation and service.

A Successful Candidate Will:

• Provide service to our customer base by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient and timely manner that exceeds customer's expectations.
• Provide preventative maintenance activities for customers by diagnosing equipment malfunction and any operating deficiency of the mechanical equipment to ensure quality work performance for the customer base.
• Provide department support by properly processing work orders.
• Drive company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate a personal desire to excel and advance within career field.

A Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:

• Working knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, parallel racks, display cases, ice machines and electrical.
• EPA Certified.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system problems.
• Exceptional mechanical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Clean driving record and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma/GED
• Course work at an accredited vocational technical or trade school
• 5-7 years’ experience in Commercial Refrigeration, or Industrial.
• Experience working on equipment in supermarket stores, large restaurant chains and cold storage facilities.
