What you will do
We are currently seeking an energetic and flexible Cultivation Data Specialist to join our growing talented team! The Cultivation Data Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and entering data entry pertaining to the full life cycle of the cultivation process. This individual must be proficient in data entry and be familiar with the cultivation life cycle. This role will report directly to the Cultivation Manager.
Highlighted Responsibilities
- Enters plants and their life cycle stage are accurately entered within the Biotrek tracking system.
- Maintaining compliance with data integrity.
- Ensures accurate weights of plants are maintained post-harvest.
- Correct and modify inaccurate files and records.
- Labels plants and ensures that an accurate inventory is always maintained.
- Adheres to a rigorous schedule to ensure that the Cultivation department’s inventory is accurate at all times.
- Partner with the compliance team to complete internal and external regulatory audits while maintaining records.
- Performs regular quality assessments in all growth areas for signs of disease and/or infestation, and records data in master record.
- Reports to management any event or condition that might affect plant growth and development.
- Backup to Cultivation Technicians as an on needed basis.
- Other duties assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in horticulture preferred.
- At least one year of horticulture/or inventory experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedule.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in medical cannabis industry preferred.
- Familiarity with BioTrack and Cannabis365 preferred.
- Comfortable with standing and sitting for a period of time.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
