About the Position:
The Drain Technician is responsible for handling fixture drain calls, main drain calls, as well as providing well pump service and installations. Responsibilities for the residential Drain Technician will include (but are not limited to) dealing directly with customers, evaluating jobs, pricing the work, completing the work, and collection of payment. The ideal candidate should be very efficient, and must enjoy serving people and discussing options with customers.

Myth 1: “There’s too much on-call and after hours service.”
Actually, many of our service technicians are relieved by the reduced amount of on-call work at Heritage. Plumbers/Drain Technicians are required to be on-call for emergency needs 1 week night from 5pm-10pm every 2 weeks and 1 Saturday from 8am-4pm every 2 months. In order to improve the quality of life of our team members we have significantly reduced the amount of on-call and we have provided flexible schedules to fit your lifestyle.
Our flexible work schedule options are as follows:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm
Monday - Friday, 10am - 6:30pm
Monday - Friday, 12pm - 8pm
Tuesday - Saturday*, 7:30am - 4pm
Tuesday - Saturday*, 10am - 6:30pm
Tuesday - Saturday*, 12pm - 8pm (no on-call)
Wednesday - Saturday*, 7:30am - 5:30pm (no on-call)
Thursday - Saturday*, 7:30am - 7:30pm (no on-call)

Myth 2: “Residential work doesn’t pay as well.”
Heritage pays as much as or more than other competing commercial, new construction, and other residential service companies in the area. We offer starting wages ranging from $28-$40 per hour. Sometimes the best solution will be the most expensive option, and sometimes it won’t. What matters to us is that the customer is happy and safe.
