The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for fixing or replacing existing plumbing system components in residential homes. Responsibilities for the residential Plumbing Service Technician will include (but are not limited to) dealing directly with customers, evaluating jobs, pricing the work, completing the work, and collection of payment. The ideal candidate should be very efficient, and must enjoy serving people and discussing options with customers.

3 Myths That May Keep You From Applying:

Myth 1: “There’s too much on-call.”

Actually, many of our service technicians are relieved by the reduced amount of on-call work at Heritage. Plumbers are only required to be on-call for 1 night every 2 weeks, with the on-call hours being 5pm to 10pm. As far as weekends go, plumbers are only required to be on-call 1 Saturday every 2 months. We provide flexible schedules to fit your lifestyle.

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm

Monday - Friday, 10am - 6:30pm

Monday - Friday, 12pm - 8pm

Tuesday - Saturday*, 7:30am - 4pm

Tuesday - Saturday*, 10am - 6:30pm

Tuesday - Saturday*, 12pm - 8pm (no on-call)

Wednesday - Saturday*, 7:30am - 5:30pm (no on-call)

Thursday - Saturday*, 7:30am - 7:30pm (no on-call)

*There is an opportunity to make more per hour for those working a schedule with a Saturday.

Myth 2: “Residential work doesn’t pay as well.”

Heritage pays as much as or more than other competing commercial, new construction, and other residential service companies in the area. We offer starting wages ranging from $28-$40 per hour. Sometimes the best solution will be the most expensive option, and sometimes it won’t. What matters to us is that the customer is happy and safe.

Experience Welcomed:

• 2+ years of service experience

• Gas Licensing and HVAC Certifications

• Installation experience with plumbing, gas, oil, and/or AC
