We are looking to hire a Human Resources Intern who will play an integral role in assisting in the day-to-day operations of the HR department including recruiting, new hire onboarding, orientations, filing, recordkeeping, data entry, and employee recognition programs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Post positions on website, job boards, and social media.
  • Review candidate applications.
  • Conduct phone screens and schedule interviews with Hiring Managers
  • Prepare and send offer or decline letters.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screens.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations.
  • Assist with maintaining and promoting employee recognition programs.
  • Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
  • Maintain records electronically as well as filing documents in employee/personnel files.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in accredited 4-year undergraduate bachelors program pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience and proficiency.
  • Strong work ethic and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
