We are looking to hire a Human Resources Intern who will play an integral role in assisting in the day-to-day operations of the HR department including recruiting, new hire onboarding, orientations, filing, recordkeeping, data entry, and employee recognition programs.
Responsibilities:
- Post positions on website, job boards, and social media.
- Review candidate applications.
- Conduct phone screens and schedule interviews with Hiring Managers
- Prepare and send offer or decline letters.
- Coordinate pre-employment screens.
- Coordinate new hire orientations.
- Assist with maintaining and promoting employee recognition programs.
- Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
- Maintain records electronically as well as filing documents in employee/personnel files.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in accredited 4-year undergraduate bachelors program pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience and proficiency.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
