JOB SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for painting finished product and wrapping finished product. Also responsible for material handling and other shipping duties as assigned. Individual will have a core responsibility and ability to complete all Shipping Department functions including, but not limited to: Shipper, Receiver, Puller, Line Puller, UPS, Painter, Material Handler and Shipping Clerk duties.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Must be acquainted with painting requirements, set up and operate paint gun. Must know the viscosity of paints per requirements.
2. Must be familiar with freight bills, picking lists and shipping procedures for upgrading.
3. Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.
4. Detect and report faulty operation, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor.
5. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
6. Other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Computer knowledge to check on job painting requirements.
3. Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 60 pounds.
4. Capable of being on one’s feet for up to ten hours per shift.
5. Position requires a fork lift operator’s license.
6. Ability to read and effectively use all gauging and instrumentation.
7. Ability to prioritize work assignments.
8. Adhere to ISO 9001 Standards.
