That’s the FACE Culture that we live and breathe here at MRA. We are seeking an enthusiastic sales and administrative professional who is passionate about solving customer problems and providing multiple options as a trusted advisor.
Position: Member Advisor and Office Ambassador
As the Member Advisor and Office Ambassador, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative duties in the office and partnering with the Executive Director and Member Relations on account management tactics for customer and prospect communication.
Including 1) New Business 2) Member Retention 3) and Prospect Referrals. You’ll get to work with our sales team to promote corporate products to MRA members and prospects over the telephone.
As the Member Advisor and Office Ambassador, you get to :
- Greet visitors and members as they come into the MRA Moline office and answer incoming calls.
- Work with outside sales representatives to keep account activities up to date.
- Maintain the mail, order office supplies and training materials to ensure the office and AV equipment are working for events, meetings, and training.
- Set up the conference rooms for meetings, training, conferences, and roundtable events. Double-check that equipment is on and ready. Assist with any issues the instructor may need.
- Maintain conference room scheduling. Translates customer needs/requirements into recommended solutions provided by MRA. Communicate with building landlord.
- Utilize standard dashboard reports to identify opportunities to grow and retain business.
- Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services. Translates customer needs/requirements into recommended solutions provided by MRA.
- Follow member companies and prospect companies on social media, Salesforce, and in the local news to help keep the team informed on important events that are happening in their organizations.
- Maintain and add to a list of local events in our member areas.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems. Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into Salesforce.
- Work with MRA's internal IT team to trouble-shoot technical issues when needed.
- Travel to and attend trade shows or visits with our sales team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to recognize customer cues and communicate effectively (i.e. “Just get on with it.” Vs. “Tell me more details!”).
- Previous experience documenting sales activity and interpreting account reports.
- Ability to travel for out-of-town meetings and events on an occasional basis, and as-needed for local business errands.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds
