AMS of Denver, a large Colorado HVAC contractor, is a dynamic organization focused on serving the commercial, industrial and institutional property owners and managers through strategic partnerships and by assisting them in the long-term management of their HVACR, Plumbing and Electrical systems in their facilities.

AMS of Denver is currently seeking a Direct Digital Control systems Manager at the Centennial, CO location to grow our direct digital controls department. Background must include Direct Digital Control programming, install, sales and customer service. This position would include, but not limited to, working closely with our Service department, servicing our existing customer base, bidding new installs and one on one customer interface. 
 

Duties include:

  • Consulting with new and existing customers to establish rapport, identify needs, define technical solutions, develop accurate cost based estimates, overcome objections and effect closing.
  • Generating proposals that satisfy the client’s needs and achieve AMS objectives.
  • Managing DDC projects through completion to insure on time and on budget completion to include preparation and monitoring project schedules, working with vendor partner, scheduling of equipment and materials, recognizing and securing change orders.


Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have at least a 2 year technical degree or equivalent field experience.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of ATC/EMS/BAS systems.
  • Auto CAD or Visio skills a plus.
  • Ability to recognize “value engineering” opportunities when they present themselves.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with our customers, suppliers and co-workers.
  • Willingness to work necessary hours to maintain excellence in front of our Customers.
  • Niagara AX Experience a must.
