Responsibilities, Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 4 years' field operations experience in the technical/industrial field.
- Understanding of NEC Code
- Installation of Variable Frequency Drives, Soft Starters, Motor Control Systems, Relays, Fuses, Control Transformers, Level Sensors, Pressure Sensors
- Be able to Read Schematics.
- Basic understanding of electricity and instrumentation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Prefer multi-craft skills (Mechanical/Electrical).
- Ability to work alone or within a group.
- Self-driven to completion of job.
- Must have a strong commitment to personal and team safety.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, Ability to multi-task. Effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the team, customers and external contacts., via telephone, in written form, email, and in person.
- Basic working knowledge of a personal computer including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Ability to learn company specific applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be willing to perform other services outside of this as well. Example—assisting with removal and installation of pumps, motors, valves, Service Entrance Sections, and other.
- Experience with using diagnostics equipment such as Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Amp Clamp and Calibration tools, instrumentation control systems, and motor control systems, and PLC controls
- Solid understanding of the use of power tools
- Familiarity with Voltages up to 480 volts
- Experience with control panel wiring
- Experience with machine integration
Physical Requirements
- Perform work in remote field settings and exposure to extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN HEAT UP TO 125 DEGREES
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time in the field.
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 75 lbs. a minimum of 50 feet in order to transfer tools and equipment.
- Ability to sustain a level of physical activity, including walking, climbing, and bending.
- Good dexterity of hands and fingers to perform computer work and operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures and manufacturers guidelines.
- Requires the ability to demonstrate regular and predictable attendance on the job.
- Valid active driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle. Driving:
- Ability to pass all random Drug and Alcohol Testing.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends when needed
