The safety of our staff is paramount, and we need to ensure they are empowered with the knowledge and materials to safely perform their daily duties.

The primary responsibilities of this role are educating the employees on safety requirements and best practices, inspecting what you expect, and also developing new processes and procedures as needed.  Solar training will be provided to ensure that this individual is able to translate OSHA policies to our industry specifically.

This individual will need to coordinate between various departments including Human Resources and Operations, along with MOXIE’s insurance company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring OSHA compliance at all times
  • Job site inspections
  • Developing and providing safety compliance training to all installation employees
  • Identify and roll-out best practices
  • Holding employees accountable for safety violations
  • Coordinating with Operations Managers to ensure compliance
  • Reporting safety compliance to company leadership
  • Meet with MOXIE’s insurance company and work through requests as needed
  • Coordinate additional training for Operations both on-site and in a classroom setting

  • Willing to travel to various MOXIE locations and/or job sites.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma with strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience, a must.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, and G-suite is desired.
  • Minimum of OSHA 30 Certification
  • Previous experience with safety/OSHA compliance required

Compensation will be based on prior experience.  Regular reviews and raises are awarded based on tenure and performance with increases far above industry standard.
