We are currently looking for Carpenters in Phoenix, AZ area (all levels of experience) to start as soon as possible.  The ideal candidate will be dependable, and detail oriented with reliable transportation. Will be responsible for constructing building framework and structures, such as walls, stairways, floor and roof trusses and sheathing. 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Produce work on or under budget
  • Transition from one task to the next with a minimum of lost time
  • Install walls panels, floor trusses, floor sheathing, decks, roof trusses and roof sheathing
  • Plumb walls
  • Actively work to increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate initiative on site
  • Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work area
  • Possess aptitude for learning and application of newly acquired skills
  • Previous work experience in the field
  • Must have reliable transportation in order to get to the jobsite.

Additional Position Details

  • Full time
  • 40 Hours per week - additional hours may be required to perform the role.
  • Weekend work may be required

Essential Function Requirements

This job requires the ability to physically move around a job site.  Applicant should expect to be exposed to construction site conditions including rough terrain, ladders, equipment noise, and heights as well as local climate and weather.

Applicants should expect to do a considerable amount of lifting, carrying, climbing, kneeling, and balancing.  Certain amounts of strength, dexterity, and alternates are required.
