Skills and Experience:


American Industrial Construction (AIC) is seeking an individual that has the energy and passion to begin or expand a career in the construction industry. This person must display the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relations with the construction team; can create and maintain a culture that values safety; must have the skills to clearly communicate with subcontractors, owners consultants, and owners; a limited knowledge of budgets, project controls, and cost controls; be results oriented with proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines; must have the ability to be mentored and coached; must possess the individual wherewithal to apply analytical thinking skills to complex problems; and the willingness and drive to succeed in a demanding industry.  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering or architecture required
  • 0 to 5 years’ construction experience.
  • Basic understanding of scheduling
  • Basic understanding of cost control
  • Basic understanding of Building Information Modeling
  • Basic understanding of estimating
  • Basic understanding of LEAN construction
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel

  • Update P6 Schedule
  • Quantity Tracking
  • Document Control
  • Subcontractor Management
  • Punch-list activity tracking
  • Maintain daily logs and project documentation
