WSB is looking for a creative, energetic, and outgoing Landscape Architect to join our growing Landscape Architecture group in our Minneapolis or Rochester office locations. This person will be responsible for managing all phases of design projects of varying types and sizes from initial client outreach to post development follow up as well as supporting projects led by other groups / individuals. 

What You Will Do: You will provide design, project management and task management leadership to the team; work directly with clients, public groups, and other design professionals throughout the design process; develop proposals in response to RFPs / RFQs; maintain involvement in and support of marketing efforts; and provide mentorship to less experienced professional staff.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate will have: 5 to 10 years of experience working in a professional design firm focusing on site design / urban design / streetscape design / park design / project management for both hard-scape and soft-scape projects; a Landscape Architect registration; a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture; strong construction documentation experience utilizing AutoCad software (Civil 3D experience a plus); experience with marketing & business development including proposal writing, scope/fee budgets for work; demonstrated ability to manage projects efficiently and profitably; effective written, verbal and graphic communication skills with internal and external clients; a desire to expand our Landscape Architectural services; a valid driver’s license; and a clean driving record. Our preferred candidate will have experience in park design, urban design or streetscape design.
