Carlson Construction, a full-service design/build, general contracting and construction management firm currently has Survey Technician opportunities for highly motivated, results driven individuals in the Phoenix, AZ area. The company serves a diverse base of high-quality clients and Government agencies on a nationwide platform. The essential duties of this position include:

• Responsible for layout and staking of proposed foundations and utilities utilizing GPS & Total Station units from DXF / CAD files
• Accurately record and document As-Builts, and underground utilities related QC/QA documentation
• Coordinate work assignment preparation and completion with other workers.
• Gather physical survey data
• Coordinate activities with suppliers, contractors, clients or other departments
• Required to drive company vehicles equipped with tools and materials while on job sites.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

A highly qualified candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
• Strong Communication skills to facilitate coordination with Owner, General Contractor, other subcontractors.
• Physically fit to perform job duties
• Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
