The Business Solutions Manager will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating the application of technology systems and procedures utilized by our organization.   • This position is based out of our headquarters in Richmond, VA
  • Remote telework will be considered for areas within 2 hours travel distance from Richmond, VA

What you will do:

  • Manages and delivers the reliable performance of ERP system
  • Supports ERP configuration, functionality, enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Manages functional and end user support for an enterprise content management solution and develops/maintains automated workflow configurations
  • Maintains internal control standards while ensuring the integrity and security of access to information and governance of data
  • Develops and maintains an inventory of reports to ensure accuracy and data integrity
  • Ensures documentation (training guides, procedures, and systems manuals) are maintained and regularly updated for system users
  • Oversees the change management process and leads implementations of upgrades or new applications with user base to ensure organizational understanding and acceptance of change and standardization
  • Oversees and executes on on-going maintenance and improvement projects and effectively communicates with project sponsors and stakeholders throughout all stages of assigned projects
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand business needs and elicit detailed requirements
  • Partners with third party technical vendors on product roadmap, enhancement suggestions and support cases
  • Partners with local IT team to ensure the systems are deployed correctly and remain available to maximize uptime

 What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, accounting, finance, (preferred, not required) with a minimum 5-7 years of experience or a minimum of 7-9 years of equivalent education and experience
  • Extensive knowledge with financial systems and relational database reporting (Oracle SQL a plus)
  • Excellent project management skills, including project planning and tracking principles; project risk and issue identification, assessment, tracking and mitigation
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present to users and management; ability to communicate technical information to “non-technical” users
  • Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment and prioritize multiple deliverables
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting and internal controls
  • Flexibility to work well in a fluid service-oriented business
