Using your accounting and finance experience and skills, you’ll perform accurate financial reporting related to cash, fixed assets, accounts receivable and payable, and other accounting needs. You’ll play a crucial role in (1) preparation of bank reconciliations, (2) monthly and period end closing processes, (3) AR and AP analysis, and (4) year-end work paper preparation.

What you’ll do

  • Support all aspects of accounting, analysis, and reporting
  • Determine and record appropriate accruals
  • Work collaboratively with various teams throughout the company on their accounting needs
  • Assist in tax research and audit activities
  • Perform month end close reporting and journal entries

What we’re looking for

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High level of general accounting skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with multi-tasking ability
  • Strong detail orientation with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Other key requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting
  • Relocation to the Des Moines, IA area is required
