Precipart is looking for an accurate and trustworthy Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our thorough Accounting Team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing and managing of payments received and identifying and resolving all discrepancies encountered. We are looking for a committed, efficient and reliable individual to support the accounting team members, other internal members, and external parties.  

Responsibilities

  • Post customer’s payments by recording checks, wires, ACH and credit card transactions
  • Deposit customer’s checks via check scan
  • Monitor customer’s accounts daily to ensure timely payment is received and inline with our sales terms
  • Verifies validity of customer’s accounts discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service department and customer
  • Resolves valid or authorized deductions
  • Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following deduction procedure.
  • Summarizes receivables by verifying totals and preparing aging analysis reports
  • Manage customer returns to ensure timely credits to customers and debits to suppliers
  • Satisfy customer’s inquiries concerning their account
  • Invoice customers through our ERP system
  • Upload Customer’s invoice via customer’s portal
  • Support/backup Accounts Payable Specialist as needed
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Responsible for conforming with the company’s quality management system requirements, as well as contributing to its overall effectiveness, and the ultimate goals of customer satisfaction, product compliance and ethical practices/behavior 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Thorough understanding of financial analysis with strong analytical abilities
  • A proven track record of exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Detail orientated with a proven ability to multitask and work independently
  • Excellent Excel skills with a working knowledge of Word
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with manufacturing ERP systems a plus
