We are seeking a Project Manager with drinking water and/or wastewater project experience for our Minneapolis or St. Paul office.

What You Will Do: As a Project Manager, you will be the lead person for:

  • Development of construction project designs; specific design calculations; cost estimates; plan preparation; and compile, write and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications on municipal projects.
  • Coordinate and delegate work to multiple work teams working in multiple locations; manage multiple projects; and maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities to ensure that projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frames and budgets.
  • Market to and secure work from new and existing clients. Depending on your experience, you may also formulate project approaches and lead the proposal process.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school, registration as a professional engineer in Minnesota (or the ability to obtain Minnesota registration within six months). Ten years of experience specializing in drinking water and/or wastewater system design for municipal, state, and/or industrial clients is also required. Our preferred candidate would have a Master’s degree in Civil/Chemical or Environmental Engineering and experience in managing projects, clients and staff in Minnesota.
