Key Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, maintains accounting records for a number of entities using Quick Books, prepares cash transaction requests for monthly payment activities, reconciles bank accounts and other accounts as required. Also provides support on special assignments and projects as requested.
Essential Job Functions:
- Generates monthly invoices and payment documents
- Ensures invoices are authorized and properly coded
- Generates checks and tracks monthly expenses
- Generates and maintains accounts payable data using latest computer technology
- Reconciles intercompany balances between entities and parent company
- Provides support to team leader on special projects as requested
- Provides support to other areas of the Company as time permits
- Responds to vendor and/or team member questions and inquiries
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Two-three year's experience in accounting and or AP/AR/office admin
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Highly organized, able to maintain orderly file and work area
- Experience with a family office or as a bookkeeping/accounting lead is preferred
- Required to be in the Birmingham, MI office daily- not a remote position
