The Role:  

As we continue to grow we need your help to lead our team to make a difference in people’s lives by keeping them comfortable. We’re looking for an organized person who can prioritize, has excellent attention to detail, strong time-management skills, has an urgency in the work performed, and can communicate well with others.  You will be responsible for making sure our installations are ordered, scheduled and completed on time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build an ideal installation department

  • Maximize capacity, efficiency and profitability

  • Hire and train the best technicians in the industry

  • Inspire installers to succeed by completing their jobs on time, on budget, and correctly

    • Their success is your success

  • Work with Outside Sales Reps. to make sure that jobs are designed, ordered, and staged properly

  • Leave the client with a great feeling about their installation

  • Work with the Sales Manager, Service Manager, and all department managers effectively

  • Conduct regular training both technical and customer service skills with the installers

  • Ensure installers are completing the install properly including technical competency, paperwork, post install checklist, reviewing photo guide lines, etc.

  • Visit job sites to put your personal stamp of approval on the completed installation

    • Use the onsite visits to collect topics for training and continual improvement

  • Know who your best technicians are and support team members to bring everyone up to the same level

  • Must remain up to date on codes, new products, and proper installation methods

  • Be a leader of your team. Be someone your peers and techs look up to

  • Know our job costs and watch them closely to make sure we stay within company guidelines

  • Drive yourself and your team to reach and exceed goals

  • Ensure that inventory is managed and organized. Efficiently return unneeded items

 Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years HVAC Installation or Service experience. Must be technically competent to be able to answer any installation questions which may arise

  • Must be able to read and decipher manuals so we can properly and efficiently install new products and materials

  • Must have exceptional organization skills

  • Present yourself as a professional to both your clients and coworkers.

  • Think of yourself as a coach.

  • Must seek out continuing education in the HVAC and Customer Service fields

  • Must have the ability to know job costing and understand how to maximize profitability.

  • Must be able to hold your technicians accountable
  • Must be able to hold yourself accountable
  • Be competent and confident in your ability
  • Must be driven to achieve goals
