Schlouch Inc. has been Eastern PA’s leading site/civil contractor since 1983 and is still growing! We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable person to join our team as a Blasting Laborer.  The Blasting Laborer position will work with the Blaster to layout and load blasts on residential and commercial construction and quarry sites with-in a 70-mile radius of Reading, PA. The Blasting Laborer position has excellent potential for growth and advancement and is well suited to the individual looking to grow their career in the trade industry. Mentoring and training will be provided to the ideal candidate.

The ideal Blasting Laborer candidate will be able to do or learn the following:

• Operate hand and power tools
• Use basic math and read a tape measure
• Operate skid loader or backhoe
• Read blueprints
• Lift 50+ pounds
• Pass an ATF background clearance
• MSHA certification a plus
• CDL with HAZMAT endorsement a plus
• Blasters License a plus
