WAREHOUSE SPECIAL PROJECTS ASSOCIATE

 ClearVision Optical is seeking a detailed oriented Special Projects Associate to assist in efficiently completing needed projects throughout our Distribution Center Warehouse. The successful candidate will have strong organization and time management skills to effectively complete daily procedures. This role will report directly to our Distribution Center Operations Manager and will have the opportunity to interact with several different departments throughout the organization. As part of the Distribution Center team, you will be trained cross functionally in several different areas within the department to assist as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Cross-train to pick and pack, stock and replenish, and ship customer orders
  • Assist with receiving process loading and unloading incoming product shipments
  • Process orders using RF scanning equipment (bar code scanner)
  • Verify product orders picked and packed; researches and correct discrepancies
  • Meet productivity requirements as needed
  • Maintain an exceptionally clear and safe work environment
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience.
  • Experience working with Outlook and Microsoft Suite, including Excel
  • Able to learn new systems quickly
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Can multitask easily — Essential to this position
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
