Job Summary: We are searching for a Quality Engineering Intern for our Quality Department in our Lenexa office. This position is year-round for a local engineering student available to work part-time Monday through Friday. Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program.
There may be opportunities to apply for a regular, full-time engineering role with Smith & Loveless upon graduation.
In this position, you will be verifying and testing mechanical parts, mechanical devices, electronic control panels to pumps and wastewater treatment systems, and reading pump curves to verify the performance of water pumps.
Job Requirements:
- Current Engineering student at a local, accredited school.
- Ability to work part-time year-round in Lenexa, Kansas.
- Able to test hands-on parts, mechanical devices, electrical control panels, and learn pump curves.
