Typical Duties include but are not limited to:
- Source potential and passive candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, extensive name generation research, and relationship building, in the field.
- Continually expand network through leveraging user groups, blogs, website updates, and networking events.
- Generate candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging.
- Prequalify potential candidates to determine their qualifications.
- Develop a pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Foster relationships with passive talent and recruiters.
- Ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
- Ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
- Write to prospective employees and customers on their terms and on their level so that UIG's recruitment message is more readily received.
- Write copy for use by publication, website, or social media to promote job opportunities at UIG.
- Vary language and tone of messages based on product and medium.
- Consult with administrative representatives to obtain information on UIG and discuss style and length of web content copy.
- Write articles, bulletins, and other related informative, marketing and promotional material.
- Invent names for products and tag lines that appear on brochures and other recruitment material.
- Review advertising trends, consumer surveys, and other data regarding generations, specifically Millennials, to determine the best way to promote UIG as a career destination.
- Will take positive steps to support and promote the recruitment, retention and development programs for UIG.
- Run queries of automated systems and provides information to management as requested.
- Coordinates and participates in job fairs.
- Serves as an internal consultant regarding staffing needs and projections, and advises on the best course of action to fill open positions.
REQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be:
- Strong computer skills; ability to learn and work with new programs.
- Ability to effectively work independently without day-to-day direction.
- Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
- Ability to make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships and appropriate rapport with all levels within client organizations, candidates, internal colleagues and management.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the staffing industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Able to pass a Drug Test
