Warehouse Associate
Position Objective
Provide excellent customer service to all customer at all times. Responsible for ensuring that all shipping and receiving functions are completed accurately and on time. Keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Checks outbound shipments for accuracy and readiness for customer delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
Shipping:
- Assures that shipping counts match documents – resolves discrepancies
- Prepare all outgoing packages with necessary paperwork
- Ensures proper packaging off all parcels and skids shipments
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
- Schedule & co-ordinate all inbound & outbound packages with couriers
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Maintain organized shipping records
- Maintain clean and safe shipping environment
Receiving:
- Ensures Receive all incoming; mail, packages, skids and distribute accordingly
- Ensures the accuracy of all receiving documents and gathers and matches forms (PO, packing slip, computer printout) relative to receiving activities
- Assures that receiving counts match purchase orders – resolves discrepancies
- Files all receiving paperwork
- Receives inbound courier orders and places incoming parts on stock shelves
- Label all parts and maintain inventory locations
- Maintain clean and safe shipping environment
Parts & Service Departments:
- Answer incoming phone calls with high a level of customer service
- Pick all parts counter orders, pick all service work orders & maintain work order parts shelf
- Perform inventory cycle counts
- Provide assistance to mechanics as needed
- Ability to work with minimal supervision under aggressive deadlines and exhibit sound decision making skills regarding time management and project execution
- Continuously develop and use effective strategies and interpersonal styles to engage and guide others towards the accomplishment of identified objectives
- Consistently work toward the common good of the organization
- Conduct themselves at all times in a professionally appropriate and respectful manner
- Apply the proper safety/security practices according to established policies

Qualifications:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Must have and maintain a motor vehicle license and be insurable by our insurance company standards

- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, use discretion, and exercise good judgment
The individual in this position will regularly interact with employees and managers in other departments and locations within the company. Receiving and reacting to directions different from your immediate supervisor will be required periodically. Conversely, there will also be a time when the person in this position must give direction to others.
