Role Summary:

Lead the team of Finance Reporting, HR Reporting and Finance Systems and look after day-to-day data driven activities. Passionate and knowledgeable to improve business processes to benefit the business as well as client. The core of this role will involve delivering accurate and timely reporting through a variety of technologies to a broad group of internal customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible to build, run, amend and / or validate and publish various predefined scheduled or ad-hoc Operational and Financial reports and dashboards working through tools and applications like SQL Server Management Studio, Accountancy ERP 3E, PeopleSoft, Business Objects (Webi) or BI, MS Excel, VBA
  • Can work on complex and time critical ad-hoc reports with utmost quality and client satisfaction
  • Requires moderate supervision to manage daily activities and can meet deadlines. Has no discretion to vary from established procedures
  • To process the deliverables within the agreed service levels with a very high standard of accuracy and attention following the defined operating procedures, guidelines and knows when to escalate to supervisors/ managers of any case or concerns
  • To assist the MIS - FRT & HRR Team leader/ Manager to achieve the process objectives
  • SQL scripts development based on ad-hoc reports requirement
  • Data modelling and Power BI Dashboards to support decision making across organisation
  • Strong knowledge of VBA to do improvisation and automation projects
  • Experience working with large amounts of data
  • Must be articulate, precise, detail-oriented and highly responsive
  • Rigorous attention to detail

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Competent knowledge on MS Excel, VBA and MS Access
  • Advance knowledge and experience on SQL scripts and database concepts
  • Strong experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI (along with Data Insights would be added advantage)
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Objects (Webi) reports development

Education and Experience:

  • BCA or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited university
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in T-SQL, Power BI, VBA and SAP Business Objects (Webi)

Shift Timing: Should be OK with UK shifts (Example – 02:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST) and UK holidays.
