We Need Someone Like You
As a Plumbing Foreman you will wake up every morning with the ability to establish and direct a best-in-class plumbing production system to ensure customer satisfaction, compliance with applicable regulations and requirements, and continual quality improvement.
Your Typical Day Might Look Like This
- You will collaborate with the Plumbing Production Manager to establish and implement a best-in-class production program that will ensure that all manufactured products adhere to established criteria and provide the utmost customer satisfaction
- You will be responsible for establishing production goals and metrics and analyze reported results
- You will ensure production meets all required workmanship and regulatory standards
- You will ensure that plumbing production adheres to all corporate safety, health and environmental programs and policies
- You will stops work if necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality and/or inhibit the logical progress of work
- You will actively participate and implement Lean Systems to ensure organization, safety and efficiency standards are met and adhered to
- Of course… you will be involved in broader org initiatives and other fun duties as assigned.
You Will Bring This to the Table
- High School diploma or equivalent level of work experience.
- Completed 5-year apprenticeship in plumbing or piping trade.
- Must be an active member of Local 441 union.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial/industrial mechanical plumbing system fabrication and installation.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, to allow you to make your plans and goals clear to the people you work and collaborate with.
- Organizational skills to help you maintain a clear picture of what you need to accomplish.
- Time management skills to help you prioritize what you need to accomplish and when.
- Basic level of financial acumen necessary to manage project budget / performance.
- Knowledge of the MS Office programs.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
- Ability to navigate production floor and/or construction site.
