Essential Functions:
Assist the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development in brand management and development, social media and website content creation, writing, and delivery of marketing and communications materials to support the Filanc vision, mission and revenue objectives. Examples include website updates, blog posts, document template design, infographic design, illustrations, project descriptions, Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), prequalification packages, proposals, interview presentations and various marketing and promotional materials.
Responsibilities:
Proposals: Assist in the production, editing and delivery of SOQs, proposals, pre-qualification requests, and bid solicitations for all Filanc offices:
- Coordinate with the Vice President of Business Development and Proposal Manager and other team members including engineering consultants on approach to overall response
- Develop and maintain consistent Filanc branded document formats for SOQs, proposals, reports, and marketing materials.
- Manage proposal layout working with technical teams
- Work collaboratively with remote teams to produce final deliverables
Information Management: Actively maintain and organize business development information including:
- Update Filanc brand boilerplates when necessary
- Design and update Staff resumes
- Obtain information and maintain detailed project descriptions, project photos, project references
- Update contact, account, project and opportunities in Unanet CRM
Communications Systems
- Lead development of communication and marketing materials, including web copy, fact-sheets, printed materials relevant experience sheets, award nominations, and news releases
- Help develop robust communications systems including: website and social media; press releases, relevant experience library; library of communication assets including photography, video and publications
- Help implement internal communications guidelines and ensure that all communications are consistent and aligned with the organization's brand
- Assist in organizing and preparing for trade show, lead development of trade show materials and exhibits.
- Assist in developing press releases, social media posts, website blog, etc., lead design and distribution of these materials.

Desired Experience
- Proven track record of developing professional correspondence (internal & external), project profiles, RFP responses, resumes, etc.
- Creation of visually engaging and informative documents
- Working within brand and messaging guidelines
- Demonstrated team approach to tasks
- Prefer 5+ years of experience in Graphic Design, Marketing and Communications, Journalism, English or other relevant area
- Experience with InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite applications required.
- Experience with Architect Engineering Construction (AEC) industry, preferred
Educational Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Communications, English, Journalism or Marketing preferred
