General Plastics is currently seeking Assemblers for our 1st (7am-3pm) & 2nd (3pm-11pm) shifts to join our growing team!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You will be responsible for safely making assemblies at or above established production standards while meeting customer quality expectations.

  • Use written job order to understand and pull needed materials
  • Use written and video instructions to assemble parts using a variety of hand and power tools
  • Conduct quality checks using a variety of measuring instruments
  • Package and prep assemblies for shipping

YOU’LL HAVE:

  • At least 1 year of experience in construction, building, or assembling
  • A positive can-do attitude and ability to work well independently and on a team
  • Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide as necessary by assignment
  • The ability to lift up to 35 lbs., carry and move parts, materials, and products
  • Capable of multitasking to complete multiple projects within a given timeframe

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Quality Control (QC) experience
  • Experience working with custom parts and products
