Ayres is looking to add a purpose-driven student to grow with our accounting team. Internships are meant to be learning experiences that allow you to test drive your future career. Our team is seeking a dependable self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You’ll join a close-knit, supportive team of professionals that collaborate to provide high-quality accounting support both internally and externally.  If you want to learn by working with some of the best, this is a great position for you!

  • Hours: 20+ a week (Monday – Friday)
  • Work environment: In-person
  • Internship duration: If applicable, this internship could be available until the intern graduates

Responsibilities – What Will You Do?

  • Monthly journal entries
  • Fixed asset audit
  • Lease standard implementation
  • Budget file preparation
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • General financial/accounting experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 
  • Dependable, organized, flexible, and the ability to multi-task. 
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and establish a professional, welcoming and inclusive environment for anyone working with the Accounting department.
