AquaPhoenix Scientific, located in Hanover, PA has an immediate opening for an experienced, organized and detail-oriented Quoting and Customer Experience Specialist. This role is responsible for preparing timely and cost-appropriate sales quotes based on RFP's submitted by existing customers and prospects. Must be able to proactively communicate with internal and external customers to ensure availability of sourced-appropriate components, build options, pricing, technical recommendations, production lead time, and Build of Materials (BOM). Will work in cross-collaboration with shop fabrication and operations to help prep, assemble, and perform the necessary tasks as needed to improve efficiency, perform quality checks, and ensure post-build BOM accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, research, and prepare customer quotes in a timely and efficient manner ensuring profitability.
• Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of product lines, fabrication requirements, industry standards, and costing measurements to accurately develop and provide timely quotes to customers.
• Coordinate and take responsibility for all required information in the preparation of final quote submittals; includes BOMs, supply-chain confirmation, drawings, and other necessary documents/processes.
• Interpret customer requirements, match products to customer specifications and drawings. Provide options and make technical recommendations as necessary.
• Ensure quote is technically sound by communicating with departments, customer contacts, production and sales management to determine and clarify project requirements and profitability.
• Review final quotes with sales/production management prior to submitting to customer.
• Proactively liaison with internal project teams to establish and forecast supply-chain objectives based on sales volume.
• Recommend corporate best-practices to meet forecasting demands and minimize purchasing costs based on quote forecasting and sales volume.
• Maintain strong, ethical customer and supplier relations; support management in conducting frequent customer and vendor reviews. Resolve shortcomings and help to implement corrective action plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role. Associate or Technical degree in business or a trade is preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills related to spreadsheets, word processing and industry specific software.
• Comprehend English language with the ability to communicate through reading, speaking, and writing
• Customer Service Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Displays enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing work assignments, and uses a proactive approach in all duties
