General Position Description

The "home office" for this position is located in Orlando, FL. Actual work location may vary.

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the setup, configuration, operation and maintenance of Conti Federal's corporate network and server systems with a special focus on Europe and the Middle East. 

This position does not require relocation, however, it may require rotational travel.

Responsibilities

  • Management of data backup, disaster recovery, security policy implementation, and user account management
  • Direct end-user technical support and performing workstation builds and swaps
  • Rapid mobilization of project sites throughout the United States and international locations. This includes establishing Internet connectivity, sourcing structured cabling, and the provisioning of network equipment, VoIP telephones, and printers. These tasks will require both self-performed and subcontracted work.
  • Coordinate with the Technology Manager to rapidly resolve problems in support of business operations.

Qualifications

  • For Security Clearance Requirements – must be a US Citizen, as required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent Information Technology discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant Information Technology experience with progressively greater responsibility
  • 3+ Years of Windows Server and Active Directory Administration
  • 3+ Years of Linux Server Administration
  • Experience administering Office 365 tenants
  • A solid understanding of enterprise networking
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office 365 Products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-Directed, organized and motivated to accomplish goals
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

  • Experience with establishing and maintaining DoD Multi-User Standalone (MUSA) systems throughout their life-cycle
