Purpose:

  • The marketing and media coordinator will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s business development strategy, social media presence, and print / digital media campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a corporate social media strategy to increase social media footprint and to encourage greater social media participation
  • Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement
  • Organize promotional events and coordinate trade show events inclusive of event identification, booking, booth design, premium item selection, and event participation
  • Partner with the business development team to help identify potential new markets and assist with the creation of market entrance evaluations / plans
  • Develop and present innovative / fresh marketing solutions to company management
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions to generate qualified leads
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with leadership regarding marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
  • All other duties as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to professionally communicate in both written and verbal form
  • Ability to develop marketing plans and design marketing campaigns
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize assignments
  • Ability to project costs and maintain budgets for assigned projects, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Ability to proficiently utilize MS Office products inclusive of PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word, and other MS Office products
  • Ability to utilize Adobe products inclusive of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud products
  • Possess decisive decision-making and analytical skills
  • Possess eye for creativity

Required Experience:

  • Two (2) or more years of applicable experience required

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience designing, developing, creating, and optimizing social media platform accounts, campaigns, and content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn.com, etc.)
  • Experience leveraging networking platforms to boost footprint / follower exposure

Education:

  • Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or other related field preferred; however, candidates with over five (5) years of professional marketing experience will be considered, if their experience demonstrates the ability to perform the tasks listed in the position's job responsibilities section

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to be physically seated for long periods of time in a standard issue desk chair
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week including weekend assignments when required
  • Ability to visually tolerate prolonged exposure to computer screens, mobile device (phones, tablets, etc.) screens
  • Ability to read documents and materials in hard and soft copy form (either naturally or with corrective lenses)
  • Ability to walk, step, climb stairs to access or otherwise move from one location to another which normally involves walking within and around locations and when required to climb and descend stairs to access areas as required
  • Ability to visually see well (either naturally or with corrective lenses)
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 lb. objects as required
  • Ability to carry up to and including 25 lb. objects as required
  • Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all-weather conditions as required

Travel:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% required
