Bragg Crane Service is looking for a dispatcher to work in our Phoenix, AZ office. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent service and responding to customers’ needs in a timely and efficient manner.

Functional Duties

  • Interacting with customers taking orders, scheduling jobs and dispatching drivers and operators daily
  • Assist Branch/Operations Manager & Salesmen in daily activities and duties including answering overflow calls and job coordination
  • Responsible for generating daily scheduling of cranes, trucks, and labor force
  • Handle calls from customers and employees
  • Acquire routes and permits for over-sized, over-weight vehicles
  • Responsible for ordering transportation permits and FAA filings
  • File and maintain Annual Permits
  • Communicates with Salesmen/Customers regarding transportation scheduling and changes
  • Distribute jobs tickets, lift plans, job info and maps/directions to drivers/operators

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of dispatch experience is preferred, but not required
  • Must have experience and an understanding of maps/highway systems and state truck routes in Arizona
  • Often requires work on weekends and holidays (on-call)
  • Team player with proven ability to work well under pressure and constant deadlines
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to seek alternative solutions for problems
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up
  • Able to sit/stand for longs periods of time and work long shifts
  • Able to use phone, email, and other office equipment proficiently
  • Excellent experience level of Microsoft Office Suite

Education

  • High school diploma (or equivalent-Required).
  • College education is recommended but not required.
  • Authorized to work in US.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a phone and computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
